A Lot Of Noise After Alignment

I may just be hearing things or it could be really loud road noise, but after going and getting an alignment this afternoon I noticed a loud humming sound around 40mph. I dont remember it doing this before the alignment. I just had the wheel bearings messed with last week because they were making noises and needed fixed or replaced. Unlike that, there is no noise when I first start driving, just when the truck gets up to 40. Any ideas?

Yes, I believe so

Check the printout from your alignment. If the alignment change was significant, you could be hearing the tires. If the alignment has been out for a while the tires will wear a certain way, then you have the alignment changed and it can make a noise as the tires are wearing differently now. If the alignment was done correctly, the tire noise should subside with miles as the tires wear back to a normal pattern.

I would assume that is is because the tires have worn differently, I'll probably give the tire place a call tomorrow, the noise sounds like it is coming from the front by the engine. Do you think it could have to do with the new wheel bearing?

If the bearings are new and done right, there shouldn't be any noise coming from them.

It doesnt sound the same as the bearings, the bearings made noise almost immediately when I started accelerating. This sound comes from the front and starts around 40mph

willin to bet its the tires, try rotating them so the rear which should be strait and not chopped up are on the front, see if its still there

Did they rotate the tires after the alignment? If yes, then it is possible that the front tires were scrubbed on the edges and now are rotating in a different orientation in the back making the noise.

No they don't rotate the tires. But I bought this truck over the summer and I had not gotten the tires aligned till now, so it may be the tires
