the new forum lay out is disappointing

Just wanted to note that we also are aware of the search issue and will be setting up full-text searching early next week as a fix. Thanks for bearing with us guys. Making this right and smoothing out all the wrinkles is very important to us.

 

 

I am sure we all appreciate all the work that is involved in setting up and maintaining a forum like this.

 

I like the autosave feature. I often close the windows by accident and the auto save is great to restore what I typed. Not sure if the old version had it? I wish more forums had that...

Just in case I was not clear enough, the forum skin WILL change in the next week. When exactly depends on a few things. If we can edit ourselves, we choose a pre-made skin, or if we shell out the money to get a custom skin (most likely).

So, don't despair- we'll get this ship back on course.

I hope evryone will bear with the change. I don't now if the forum members actually realized the amount of SPAM that we were encountering. It was a big problem that mods and admins had to deal with daily. I tink when everything on the new board is tweaked it will be as friendly as before. Change just takes getting used too...

The new layout looks way too much like Facebook. Change the layout back to the old one please. The continuing effort toward a great forum is always appreciated.

Being an IT guy I hear complaints about new or modified software all the time. The bottom line is it's change and we will all get used to it.....

I like change. I rearrange my garage once a week. Mainly out of boredom. Lol

Change is good, it keeps the mind sharp having to learn and keep up with new things.

Yeah change is good but when you post something and go back and start poking around and find what you complained about you feel like the south bound end of a north bound jackass!!!
