Rogue Leader Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Going to order some new shocks today, Bilsteins are too rich for my blood, but the KYBs fall more into my price range. The Gas-A-Just sounds like it gives improved handling but then I saw the Mono-Max as well which says better towing. Anyone with experience between the two? I will be primarily using my truck to tow my race car and trailer which is about 4000lbs combined, and maybe 4500-4700lbs total fully loaded with my tires, tools, generator, compressor, and racing gear in the bed etc. I'd prefer a smooth ride, right now the truck is bumpy to say the least but the shocks are old and beat up. Otherwise it will only be really used as a BAD weather driver, to keep my Camaro out of the snow of course.
00Silverado4x4 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Don't have experience with either but I did get Monroe Reflex's for my truck & couldn't be happier. If yours are shot then just about anything will be an improvement. Just my opinion.
