Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

So I just ordered the RC 2" leveling kit and i can't for the life of me find a place to get some 2" rear blocks for the back. Can anyone post a link to where I can get some?

Thanks

ive seen people make blocks out of i believe angle iron and some good welds....i'm thinking its not the strongest set up but i've seen it done...just for shits when i was in highschool the rednecks use to make straight pipes out of galvanized aluminum

I got the ready lift blocks. I know they are a little more expensive than some other options but the blocks have the lips (like oem) to help line them up on the leafs and the ubolts are coated with something (forget what they call it). I went with the 3" blocks and was happy with the rake. When I tow the offroad toys it's about level.

Hold a magnet to them. I think all 6.2's have aluminum. The spacers are the same. The bolts are longer or shorter depending on aluminum or steel

No, only the XFE silverados have them

Hey Plunk77, I have a 2010 GMC Sierra SLE and was looking at the post as I just ordered the RC 2 leveling for the front. My control arms are metal, as I had the same question, took a magnet to it and sure enough, not aluminum. Since I relatively 1 newbee here, i don't have pic's of my truck, but it's white like yours. Anyhow, not sure if I will add the blocks yet to the rear.

yeah i haven't gotten my lift yet. christmas present so i have to wait. I think i'm just gonna go with the zone offroad 2" kit because its everything i want in one package. I want to run 285/75/R17s probably BFG All-Terrains just using my stock wheels. Does anyone know if i can go bigger? the consensus is that thats the biggest i can go

I just ordered the rough country 2" front spacer and 2" rear blocks and ubolts as a kit from RC. 118.00 shipped to my door, was actually a bit cheaper than the zone :)
