Strange noise?

Alright this noise comes from the back of my 2005 Silverado Crew cab 5.3 4x4. It sounds like wind, their is only a minor vibration and i stress minor! It only does it between 48 & 55 MPH and any adjustment of the throttle can bring it on or stop it. Was thinking it could be the exhaust, or the rear! PLEASE any in put will be helpfull no one can give me a answer.

It does sound alittle like that but more of a sucking sound. It has been doing it for about 50,000+ miles and nothing in particular brings it on, up hill, down hill, towing, just does it in that range of speed and doesn't always do it. Thanks for help! I will look at the u-joints today also.

Check into your dealership for a service bulletin that deals with the seals that go around the front windshield.. The GMT-800's were known for this issue and deals with the hard rubber seal. All they do is lift the edge of it and put a small beat of caulk between it and the seal and the noise magically goes away.

Stevens, the only thing the sound comes from the back of the truck.
