Weathertech's not flush??

I just installed my front and rear weathertech liners. Front fit is awesome, the lips sit flush on the door seal. However the rear lips seem to float above the door seal and don't sit flat. Is this by design? I had to trip the rectangular piece off the liner to fit it around the rear of the console, but this doesn't effect the sides or cause the floating. Where you put your feet is fine but just right at the door they seem to float by about an inch. This typical?

did it just come out of a box folded up?? assuming yes... let it lay out and relax for a while check it in a day or two, if it really bugs you put some velcro on the bottom of it to help it stick down, im assuming itll lay down at some point though

mine are about half an inch. its pretty much the design of the rear. same in my 08 extended cab

Mine don't sit flush in the rear either. They are kind of cupped upward in the front. I would assume so water can't flow under the front seats? My passanger side front also slides around, no way to secure it to the floor like the driver side has.

I am guessing its just the way they are. Had them for over a week and half now and thats just how they sit. I was worried people would catch their feet on them getting in the truck and moving the mats but its not a problem.
