Was wondering...........

 

Is it necessary to update to the latest firmware on the OGM 1

 

If your not having issues with the OGM 1s performance??

From many years of experience with firmware/software updates - if you are having no problems the update claims to fix and the update does not have enhanced features you feel you want, why update and risk problems?

 

However if you can go back to the earlier version easily if the new one causes problems, then the risk is essentially zero.

I would just hold off if you aren't having any issues. The only thing this one did, besides fixing some issues, is change the viewing of the camera.
