What did you do with your truck/shop today

Bled the brakes, greased the chassis, and jump started it to get it cranked for the first time in 2 weeks. Got an alignment scheduled Wednesday but I'm scared to drive it. It'll go in a straight line but its WAY out of spec. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 

hmmm you had to jump start it after it sitting for 2 weeks? I had my truck on stands for 3 months about 2 years ago, throughout the winter, and I replaced my plugs and wires (they were do) when I went to start it up and it fired right on up. Then again, I only had my battery in there for a year before it started sitting

Left the truck at the airport. Flew to NH and got a brand new Suburban for my rental. It's black and with that 3rd row come Monday I can take my entire department out on our lunch break and play FBI.

Still working on installing newly geared differentials and new lift kit. Did the tear down yesterday, time to start the rebuild here soon, after I go to the store and have to get a couple washers and nuts that they forgot to add in the hardware bag, wtf...

Still working on this damn lift. Finally got the front done. Just need to get off early tomorrow to install the new rear differential and AAL and maybe blocks depending on how it sets

 

 

Passenger side. I keep screwing up so that's why its taken this long

 

 

Driver side with tire. Its still stands so it will sit a little lower but hopefully not by too much

I've never worked on a vehicle lift so I wouldn't know the difference. But I have done so much on these set of stands that km used to it. I've pulled 3 trannies with these. Plus the body lift helps

long time I drive. Thank god my truck is safe and me also.
