Taking truck and trailer in for inspection as well as dump some oil. The bucket decides to slide forward and tip half of the oil out in the bed of my truck. FML!!!

A former coworker had that happen INSIDE the cab! He ended up cutting out the back half of the carpet since it went down past the carpet and was impossible to clean otherwise.

I had people staring at me at the gas station cause the oil was rolling out of the bed onto the ground lol

Any tips on getting the slippery feeling out of the plastic from the oil? I tried purple power and it didn't work. Power washer is my next step. Anything else?

Put some oil dry or kitty litter on it and kinda grind it in with something, I would let it sit on there overnight if you can and then purple power the crap out of it the next day.

The seats appear to be all the way back.

Is the interior in the gmt900's that small? Our car seat fit with a lot more room to spare and it seems to have the same dimensions as yours, I'm surprised. It didn't reach that far forward, and both are extended cabs.

Chris is right the seats are all the way back, I'm 6'2 and the wife is almost 6', she also likes her seat pretty reclined so that why the seat seems to sit so far forward,

I was also thinking dawn dish soap, cause they use it to get oil out of the birds feathers from oil spills!! Lol. I hadn't thought of simple green I'll do that at work cause we keep gallons of it. Thanks yall!

Just noticed a deep growling noise from what seems like the rear end. Sounds like a bearing going bad. Weird cause I just rebuilt that damn thing 6 months ago. Have to jack it up when the rain clears and see where it's coming from. Only happens while accelerating and really hard to pin point cause it happens around 55+ while accelerating and I drive mostly backroads. Goes away while coasting though, maybe just gear noise?

I'm gonna jack it up hopefully this weekend and still check it. Gotta adjust e brake, check my pads and rotors (get a studder like feeling when I'm coming to a stop) and hopefully I'll have my new front shocks by then
