Meguiar's Clay Bar Praise.

I used Meguiar's Clay Bar kit and boy I tell you. It made my Silverado have that wet look. It is a lot of manual labor but in the end it was worth it. I recommend anyone who wants to wash their truck to buy Meguiar's Clay Bar kit. It is costly, about $20, but it's worth it.

First time you clayed your truck?? Hope you waxed it after removing all the crap with the clay.

Not much $ seeing you get 2 clays and detailer, along with a "soap dish".

Hell, it even shine better than a new 2010 Tahoe when my 07 Classic was parked next to it.

First time clayed, then waxed, which I do often. After that it shined much better than the new Tahoe parked next to it.

It's impressive how the vehicle looks when you wash it properly. That Clay makes a huge difference when it takes out all of the crap that's lying on the paint. Works well for windshield cleaning also.

its the best clay bar product ever!!!

LOL.........I don/'t know about that but it does what it is supposed to. If you get into detailing, there are different textures of clay bars. You can really clean up your paint and pick up all the impurities. You can find all different sizes of clay also. I have used the Meguiar's kit before because I was out and picked one up at Wal-Mart. Can't beat the soap dish either, great for storing a couple of those little bars they give you.

Mother's also sells a decent kit with a hugh bottle of detail spray.

Next tme try an Adams kit, a little more money but they give you a huge piece of clay with it.

I used the mothers kit on my truck a few month ago. The spray bottle of lubricant lasted only long enough to clay bar the hood, doors and front clip. The results were awesome. The paint felt so much smoother. I could really feel the difference.

I started out washing the truck in the shade, then clay bar as much as I was able to, then wash again, then apply the mothers carnuba wax I picked up. I will be using collinite brand wax next time as I have had very good experience with the brand waxing boats.
