So i have a very large beaver damn in my creek which is backing up all my water into my fields. Whats the best way to get the beavers to come out and to destroy damn?

Lmao I don't think they would come all the way out to my place just to kill beavers lol but would be awesome.

 

Thinking about going at dusk like you said frogfish and getting them but then the damn.....light it on fire?

shoot them at dusk when they come out. The best way to get the dam is to use a tractor / front end loader / backhhoe and just demolish it

For real... dynamite if you can actually get it. If not backhoe / tractor would work but be careful of the water that is going to come rushing out after you break that dam. Then set up and shoot said beavers... most state Wildlife, Parks, and Fisheries will pay you like $10 for a beaver pelt. Check on that as well..

Had beavers in a pond a few years ago. We trapped them all out, and then their lodges just disintegrated over time. If you're looking to get rid of them faster destroy the dam, then trap or shoot em. Dawn and dusk are both good for shooting them. If you get enough of them the rest will usually just leave.

ive moved a beaver dam with my atv by moving the heavy logs with a winch and then we all ran it over and it started to flow.

 

beavers didnt come back. if you want to get the beavers, like frog said get a chair and some beer and a gun of your choice and wait. at dusk
