I am also considering the same setup on my 2007 NBS. I have the TRUXXX lift 2.5" front and 1.25" rear. Any feedback?

I would personally go to a 22x9.5 for that size tires, and YES even with the proper offset (31-34mm positive) you will have rubbing issues with the inner fender welt when turning the wheel.

what about going with a +20 or +16 offset with the 22x9.5 305/45/22 combo.... If i understand offset correctly, this will push everything away from the hub a little further than stock, right? Will that eliminate the rubbing?

I have 305/45/22 on my truck with a 2 inch level. my wheels are tbss repros.
