Head to the dealer and see if they will print you a copy of the bulletin.

Maybe the user that is a GM customer service rep here can fax that bulletin to you? Or even email it.

Yes my issue has been resolved...somebody posted up the bulletin stating that a typewriter ticking noise is normal in diesel engines. Thank you

Yep, normal and should go away in a few hundred miles. I am 70k on the clock and strangely mine did it for the first time the last oil change. I have wondered if it wasn't the different oil filter I used.

Friend was just over the house yesterday afternoon with his 2011 Chevy K3500 D/A E. Cab long box (bought last July of 2011). Has 24,000+- miles and has been using nothing but AMSOIL DME 15W-40. We could not hear anything like this on his truck. He also uses the AMSOIL EAO52 Oil Filter (he is a Dealer). So far he has not had a lick of trouble with the truck, he tows a travel trailer. The OLM monitor has just gone off in his truck and he was heading to get the oil changed, said it was at 9,000 miles when the OLM went off.
