97 Blazer Remote Entry program

I have just finished putting a new motor in a 97 blazer.  The remote for the door locks is not working.  How do I reprogram it?  Anyone have ideas??

On my 1998 S-10, you would turn the key on (engine not running), then press the unlock & lock button at the same time and hold them. After a couple of seconds, the locks would cycle locked, then unlocked.  Should be programmed.
