Auto Meter 17104 on a burb?

Every application chart i check excludes (including AM's website) or explicitly tells me this is not compatible with my burb. But i thought the gmt800 trucks shared pretty much everything (including dash/pillar design). The photos i see of this look pretty similar to my a pillars except that mine might hav tabs at the bottom where it flares out.

 

I've got an inquiry into auto meter, but curious if any one here know 1st hand or not?

 

(looking to put gauges for my viair and riderite there)

response from AM:

 

"The Auto Meter 17104 pillar is designed to fit 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado/Duramax and GMC Sierra/Duramax models, including 2007 Classic models. I apologize, but unfortunately I do not have information if it will fit the Suburban application."

 

If any one knows for sure if it's a match, i'd be grateful, i don't have access to a truck to test it...

I had a 2001 3/4ton Suburban, and from what I remember the whole inside looks exactly like my 2006 3/4 silverado. I would be hard pressed to see any differences. I remember when my wife sat in the silverado for the first time she laughed and looked around and said wow, so this is just like the Suburban.
