I'm sick of people telling me to "dump my exhaust" that is my favorite part of this truck and it isn't going anywhere.. I chose the graveyard because it was close and the fall colors looked nice.

this is a forum, your going to get people whos opinions are different then yours. if you dont wasnt people to say what they dont like about your truck, dont post it online, especially on a forum.

me to i may do the handles red just to get new handles but other than that the mirrors and flares are staying, i like old skool.

 

i cant post a pic on gmfs without someone saying its gay and needs this that and the other.. nice to be around some like minded individuals

Add me to the negative comment list. Lose the pipes. I'm glad to see the Sierra stickers and headlight covers gone. Soooo much better. Once it's lifted what wheels and tires are you planning?

as for wheels and tires thats what im stuck on right now, im thinking 20x9 rims and nitto trails or something along those lines, i drive alot and want an aggressive tire but not something thats going to wear fast, or be too big. i want chrome rims as well. these will probably be craigslist finds as im incredibly tight on money.. hence why my lift will be bought at tax time

If you're going with chrome wheels then I would Colormatch the flares and do escalade handles. Go with 10" wides as well. They will give you a better stance.

Not if you rock 33s. 35s yeah but shouldn't be much.

oh ok 33s wont look too small will they with that lift? i mean obviously being wider than my current ones will be an advantage but i dont want them to look like baby tires.. i dont think itll look too bad

33x12.50s are a perfect size for a 6" lift, especially when they're on a wider wheel. Just steer clear of weak tread patterns. I think you mentioned trails so you're going in the right direction.

Sounds like a plan it'll probably be a while before I get rims and tires I'm trying to get put on our honda accord line at work since they are doing overtime like crazy right now since it's a new launch for 2013 bbut they refuse to take me off the dumbasss knob machine that NEVER has overtime..

I think the truck does look good. It makes me miss my '06 2500HD real bad. I personally am not a fan of duals but also not a fan of dumping the exhaust either. I prefer a good ole passenger exit right behind the rear tire with a classy chrome tip. I ran 285's on my truck but again it was a 2500 and was leveled. I would try 35's if it were me, I like the look of a fully stuffed wheel well. But in the end as long as you love it that's what really matters. BTW I wanted to do a color matched grille on mine too but wasn't sure how it would look. Now if I ever get another one I will be doing that for sure!

i LOOOVE my color matched grill it brings the front end together soo much better than random chrome all over, i want 35s but i dont want to regear since im poor lol
