2002 Nissan Pathfinder SE

Does anyone know for sure what the proper socket size is for an 02 Pathfinder SE? 13/16" fits well, but I would think it would be a Metric size, being a foreign SUV. I want to buy a socket for my air impact wrench, but don't want to buy a whole set, or at least if I do, make sure the set has the size in it.

Dont know the answer but craftsman has a nice mechanics set (76 pieces) both standard and metric (1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive).  I think i paid like $39.99 on sale.  I use mine all the time (and so does my dad since he takes all his sockets to work)

Thanks Ryan. I have the regular socket sets, but I'm buying impact sockets. The largest metric socket I have, non-impact, is 19mm, so I couldn't just try to match it up. I called the dealer though, and they said its 21mm.

i use these sockets on an impact gun all the time.  To reply to the 22mm vs 7/8 in the light duty forum i use the 7/8 on the impact gun all the time and it has never rounded the corners off.  I have taken the wheels off about 12-15 times so far

Really? Thanks for the additional info. I did have a regular Craftsman chrome socket split on me in an impact wrench once, which his why I'm more careful now. But thanks for the 7/8 vs 22mm info, I was just going by what the dealer said.  :thumb:
