Hey all - This forum was a great help, helped to transform my 2011 GMC Sierra long bed 4x4 truck that I bought last year. I installed the Skyjacker leveling kit and the tires fit a-ok. It may not be that much of a big deal, but I think the truck looks much better.

Here's a pic of before from last year when new and the after pic after the tires were installed on Friday. I also added another door trim piece to the side of the long bed, that was shown in an old post.. Same camera, lighting different compared to summer dusk to this weekend's fall weather.

I'm ready for the snow this year up here in Canada eh'

Looking real good. I don't even own a cat but apparently they like my truck. Got paw prints going from hood to tailgate as I type. I know I'm not real particular about external truck cleanliness but paw prints I don't like. Dang cats!!!

The trim on the box has to be dead straight in order to look right. As it is, it looks a bit off to me, and that distracts the eye. But, that being said, it does not matter one bit what I think, it is your truck, do YOU like it?

You have the 285 mounted on the wheels in the pic? I have the same wheels on mine, for summer use, and will need tires in the spring. Was considering the 285s to replace the 265s. Where in Ont did you get them, and how was the pricing?

Thanks all. Older generation trucks came with the trim, looked liked something missing without it on the long box, but ok on a short box without it.

OK Tire installed around $280 each, then there's a $50 rebate. Canadian Tire has them for $313 - $323, but to be aware Canadian Tire has them made specially for them, some suggest the tire being different then buying them from a BFG tire store. Could have ran across the border to get them cheaper, but I like supporting local companies, especially if there's an issue later on.
