2014 truck pricing?

I say gm will surprise people with their pricing on the 14 trucks. The trucks probably won't be cheaper because of cameras, radios, and safety, but I think 13 will be the last year for huge rebates. GM seems to be trending towards lower pricing and lower mark-up. I've seen them do it with the new caddy's and buicks. The terrain is a good example of the new pricing strategy. It never really has had big rebates on it and it is priced very competitively to start with. I think this is a good thing and will help stabilize the auto industry. I was wondering what others think?

I hope so I bought mine new and fast at a high price, this time around I will wait and see, a truck like mine... I paid just over 25k in Canadian dollars I know new ones with my options are much cheaper now. Also I will visit many dealers as they are all different when it comes to salesmen and negotiation.

 

Basically I learned fast from my first "new" vehicle.

They will most likely be the same. I'm sure the 6.2 will be $1500-2000 option however.

I think manufacturer sticker prices are meaningless. In So. California at one point you could get 12 grand off sticker. I think right now it runs between 8 to 10K off.

 

There is a lot of talk that the excitement for these "new" trucks are not what they should be. Translation-Major rebates to come.

Id like to get the 6.2 as well but i duno if Ill have the patience. I sold my 08 right at the beginning of this year and its already killin me not having a truck. LTZ crew with a 5.3 is what ill probably end up with because im sure they will be the first out.
