Power Window Regulator part (not from china!) 79 k10

Hi all,

My drivers side power window regulator went out (a few teeth are wore down) The metal is really soft compared to my original (the original bushings went bad but teeth were fine.).

 

I am really dissapointed with LMC truck. I ordered replacement mirrors and a power window regualtor. Both lasted just over a year before I started having problems. The Mirrors self adjust when I close a door. Really annoying!

 

Does anyone have a better parts house that stock parts made in the good ol USA?

 

Some googleing turned up a few sites but their price is the same as LMC so I bet its the same crap made in China.

I was able to get the original GM part number from www.rockauto.com They list the part for $147.79

 

www.gmpartsdirect.com lists it for $113.11 - Guess I will go with them.

 

If anyone has other options please share!

I've purchased window regulator assemblies from rockauto, NAPA and advance auto without problems as you describe

GM still shows new stock available in Lansing, Michigan parts wharehouse. GM List is $94.66.

 

That said, just have your local dealer order one up for you.

 

On a side note, the AC Delco PN# is 18-30648.

I've also purchased from RockAuto and they seem to still be geniune AC Delco parts. I'm going to assume LMC sells a product line equivalent to what you'd find at AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts.
