The worst pain I had was about 18 hrs after surgery when the nerve blocks (3) wore off. Talk about pain never felt anything like it in my life. I was on oxycodone, it took like 6 hrs to get under control after that and I har a high tolerance for pain

Oxy sucks, I don't know how people get hooked. I only could take the pills for 3 days as it messed with my stomach and plugged me up

Get well soon, and take comfort in the fact that now you have one less thing to worry about. Your appendix can never give you trouble again. I had my gall bladder out three years ago while they did the hernia surgery, now I don't have to worrry about gallstones anymore.

I would have never thought of the appendix before. With as bad as it hurt and where most the pain was coming from, my mother started nagging me to go to the hospital. Good thing o did because it burst a few hours later.

 

I'm hoping to get discharged in the morning. I miss my bed and trying to search to the end of the internet

I figure I'm going to need a back surgery. Would have been nice if they could have done some lipo and an enlargement during the removal. I asked but they said I need a plastic surgeon for all that.
