I have the opportunity to buy a REESE MULTI FIT HITCH That fits silverados from 1998 - 2007. Is there that much a difference between the frames on a 07OBS and a 07NBS?

Not sure about the rear section where a receiver bolts in, but the GMT900 received a new frame design (fully boxed to within ~20" of the rear bumper). Look at the manufacturer specs, and see if it fits both. If not, look at others and see if any fit both...
