03 ZR2 stock

Can I run 33"s on it stock or will I have to lift it? It's got 31x10.50R15 on it now

It's been a while since I've researched this. I want to remember the 33's will rub slightly if you don't lift it.

How much damage will there be? I'm new to the ZR2

33s will not fit a stock ZR2. At minimum you will need a 2" body lift and even then trimming up front will be needed. The ZR2 is a bit tough to do bigger tires on, even 32s will not fit stock. Some crank the snot out of the t-bars and fit them but the front ends of S-trucks do not tolerate this like the fullsizes and you will start wrecking balljoints.

Body lifts can be a lot of work, I helped friends do 2 or 3 on ZR2s and each one had some issue with it. I will say check, check and then check once more that your BL has EVERY part in it before starting. I don't know how it is now but Performance Accessories used to be good at sending incomplete kits.

Another question..are the stock 03 ZR2 any good offload?

Yeah they're great offroad, and contrary to popular belief 31" tires do just fine.

Like I said I'm new to them as compared to jeeps..where can I get aftermarket off road stuff?
