First tow with the new springs should be today. It wont be heavy, just a 16 ft 2 horse trailer. This is it hooked up before on the old springs

Empty

Loaded with about 25 bales of hay

Blower, brakes, cam, stall, built tranny, 3.73's with a true trac, and minor appearance changes as I get bored. This is all as budget allows.

I got a deal on the springs and ended up cheaper than air bags.

Regear and Hydroboost are next on the list. then 05+ front brakes and SUV 2 piston rears. Too cheap to go Big Brake kit right now

what all do you need to do that brake upgrade? Im guessing your doing it for better stopping power. I wouldn't mind having some bigger, better brakes on these heavy tires. Not even sure if 05+ brakes would fit on my truck

Calipers and brackets for the fronts plus rotors. I think calipers and brackets for the rear

Barely felt the trailer behind me with the new springs and temps were decent for 90 degree weather

1800 lbs. is nothing for that truck. I have same springs, and it barely squats with a 2500 lb. trailer (unloaded weight) on it. And I even have a lot of tongue weight on the truck in order to keep the trailer pretty level. Fully loaded, around 5000 lbs. when all is said and done, you will definently start to see it squat, but my truck is also leveled out. If I had rake, it would be fine. Now if I only had a 6 speed, it would tow like a dream. I only have 3 gears while towing!!!

I have 2" of rake if measured to the top of the wheel wells. 35" at the front 37.25"(2500HD springs) at the rear. I was at 37" with 1500 springs and a 1.25" block

Here is what I will be towing. I towed it to the weigh station today to get numbers.

Top copy is with trailer. Not trip ready. Bottom copy is my truck with me in it.

I can't even see the numbers but I know campers can get pretty heavy, especially when you load everything you need. My suggestion would be to keep it out of OD

The only thing that I see that would worry me a little are what appear to be lower profile tires. I just returned from towing our camper to/from Florida, and some of the roads (especially in parts of AL) will absolutely beat the crap out of the tires/suspension when loaded heavy. I have 265/70-17, and I think that's about my minimum sidewall for towing, and I have them at 40 psi front / 44 psi rear (p-metric). That little bit said, your truck looks good!

Mine aren't p rated. They aren't LT either. Just between. I had 50 psi in them and they can take 65 I believe.

Now that I am out of bed, the tires are 275/55R20XL Cooper's. I keep 50 PSI in the back when I tow. the 2500HD springs helped a lot in that. the trailer is 9300 pounds not ready to camp
