Hope that pic didn't get your hopes up. Here is the LS2 truck intake with rails and injectors I ordered.

They aren't. The intake I got is used on the LS2 equipped Trailblazer SS and the GMT-900 4.8/5.3. Better design than the intake used on the 4.8/5.3/6.0's of our generation. and it was a cheap upgrade. I will install when I do my knock sensors and oil pressure sending unit

So all I need for the intake now is injector adapters, an engine cover off a GMT-900, and an evap purge solenoid.

I gotta get this done, do my knock sensors, and change a cat, then start on the hydroboost

Wont fit yours. Is yours on the manifold I can probably give mine up for thr cost of shipping and a beer

Nice, she's coming along nice. But I have to ask, all that trouble with gearing, all the hours labour you are going to pay or do yourself and you are going to use a g80?? Why man??? Whhhhy!?!? Especially the way you are talking about blowers/cam, ur gonna blow that diff sky high. Mark my words.

What's the difference in intake mani's? Torque kick in quicker?

Posted

Ill keep a G80 for a bit. It is the easy way to get a new 14 bolt. I dont plan on a blower for a while. I am looking to stay N/A for a while. With what I do I dont see the G80 as a problem. A heavy tow twice a year and launching a boat. If I decide to go 4.10 gearing I will have it changed.

The manifold change is supposed to improve torque in the mid to high rpm range. It seems larger than the current manifold and is a lot cleaner inside.

Any plans on a pcv catch can?
It will be after I get the manifold and hydoboost done and get free flowing cash again

Nice, I get it. That thing is gonna be nasty when she's done. Any plans for 4l80e swap?

It has crossed my mind, there is so much to chqnge and it it cheaper to get a built 65. I may do the 80 swap if I have another DD so I can have my truck out of service for a whileSent from my Samsung GS4 using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
