Yes, but the only emissions legal turbos I can get are the STS rear mount, and I don't want to do a rear mount

They aren't that bad man, cooler underhood temps, quick spool, cooler intake charge...squire systems aren't that bad. Best bang for ur buck IMO, a blower would be cool too tho. Ever pondered n/a but built up nice? Bored/stroker 6 point oohhh really got some go too, decent heads and cam will bet you at least 550...

I still have to worry about tailpipe emissions, to build it N/A and bad ass is a lot of money and I will most likely fail the sniff test

CA has some stupid high emission standards, like you said you needed 4 cats to pass emissions. I need two, if I had emissions in the county its registered in. Other than that, the cats just have to "be there" in order to pass our state inspections (Mine are basically gutted at this point)

Don't think you guys picked up sarcasm lol...mine is a 5" pipe directly off the turbo. No cats, no muffler. Nothing.

That's why no matter what state I'm stationed in, I register in Michigan. No sniff test or vehicle inspections there.

Supposedly thry are doing away with the sniff and just going to q visual and obd check
