oil change

I always use synthetic for the best protection for heat, cold and towing. Not that much more money, but probably not absolutely necessary

And if you're looking to run the best synthetic oil and get good pricing, Black02Silverado can hook you up like he did for me. I am switching from Mobil 1 to Amsoil on my 2011 Silverado and getting some additional quarts of the Amsoil ZROD for my 2012 Camaro. He did what my local dealer didn't offer to do and gave me better pricing. Let Nick help you out. He's an ok guy.

Last time I checked, Amsoil did not meet or exceed the dexos standard. Has that changed in the past 2 years? I don't really have to worry about it with my diesel, I run 15W40 Rotella or Delvac.

Yes, AMSOIL does make oil that meets dexos standard (OE 5W-30, Signature series 5W-30, and XL 5W-30). And no, I'm not an AMSOIL dealer or preferred customer, just wanted to let guys know that they can use AMSOIL if they want.

If your changing you own oil, make sure you run a good filter also like WIX, NAPA Gold/Silver, AMSOIL EA, etc. Stay away from garbage like Fram.

Thanks Blu_Silvy_11. Your order should be at your place by Wed.

Yes, AMSOIL's 5w-30 line all meet/exceed the dexos 1 specification so you can use them in your new GM vehicles with no worries. :)
