2014 Double Cab

Has anyone been able to order a double cab yet? My dealer said they just started orders... and he has one coming... but still can't order the Iridium Metallic color. Just the basic colors right now. Been waiting for over a year to get my order in on an All Terrain, but want the Iridium Metallic

That's is the exact one I'm ordering...hopefully soon unless I cant stand the wait anymore. It's killing me to wait because I'm starting to see the new crew cabs on the streets now.

depends who you ask... only a handful of people have actually seen one at this point since the paint code isn't in production yet. Under certain light.. I believe there is a hint of purple.

additionally .. I heard NO metallic colors are in production yet. borwnstone,Iridium,etc. Should be anytime now... but for now, just basics - white, black, silver, blue, etc.

You can get Iridium Metallic on a GMC Terrain, so for those interested, you should at least be able to see it.

 

Double & Reg cab production was to begin 7/15 last I knew?

If they would have left the purple tint out it would have been a great color. I was excited for it too, based on the photos they initially released such as the one in the first post of this thread...then I saw the color on the GMC main page and in other photo's and was quickly disappointed.

 

C'mon GM.

I sure hope it's just some bad lighting or poor post-photography editing, but I have my doubts.

I agree.. if it was just slate gray metallic it would be perfect.

 

I may end up jumping the gun on a quicksilver double cab my dealer ordered a few weeks ago. Don't know when it's actually going to be built. he said they should have it in a month.

It looks good in these pics, but lighting is everything. I guess I'll just have wait to get my own eyes on it to see how it looks.

When I looked at GMC.com build page. The selection for reg cab and double cab said late summer and would not let you chose that option.

you are correct, but the dealers are allowed to put in orders on certain paint codes now..

I've already ordered my All Terrain double cab in this color.
