How do I disable Hangouts? (texting)
I just use the text messaging, other morning I rolled over my phone or something and somehow it switched.

How do I resolve this issue?

Well no, I just turned off the notifications.

You can use a 3rd party msg app. Or find an apk that doesn't have it which I think would be from 4.3 or earlier. Rooting it and putting a custom rom is always a great option if you like to tinker.
