Trouble finding parts online... 2000 3/4 ton (LD)

I did not have much trouble getting things for my old truck. I am not sure what sites you are looking at. But with that year of trucks it was a very short run so if people did make aftermarket parts and stuff as old as it is there may not be a lot left out there on the shelfs to do what you want to do. The only things that might help it would be that some of the 1500 HD parts might work. Sorry I can't be of more help on this, the biggest mod I did to my 99 was the amber daytime lights!!!! Put gas and oil in her a set of tires or two for over 182,000 miles and never even put brakes on her!!!!

It's not a big issue... I only want to get rid of the few inches of rake.. and I have a set of 285 75 16 BFG AT's sitting in the barn that I'd like to put on... other than that I think I'll leave it alone ( yeah right... who am I trying to kid )

Your gvw is 8600 like all 1500hds and light duty 2500s. Last 7200 gvw 2500s are the previous gen 6 lug 2500s. Your front end is the same as a 1500 hd or a 2500 hd for that matter. Brakes, front suspension, front diff and whatnot all interchange. Gm is great for building duplicate models.
