LED Light Bars

Recommended Posts

Been thinking about getting a LED light bar for my truck. I think it would be extremely helpful while setting up decoys in the field or just driving the back roads at night. Does anybody on here have one? I am thinking about putting it behind my front grill so it can not be seen while off. Either that or two 8 or ten inch lights on either side of the vent in the bumper.

Does anybody have any input on size or a good place to order them?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have a light bar, but I do have lights. I have two round led units. These are installed using the existing hole where a plastic rivet was from the factory joining the plastic and chrome parts of the bumper. I removed the rivet and just stuck a bolt through and attached the included light bracket (bracket is stainless, which surprised me and is very nice). I also have it rigged with a 3-way switch/ relay setup. Normally I leave it in automatic mode, where they kick on when I put the truck in reverse, other modes are always off and manual on. All wires tie in to the trailer wiring harness. These lights come in very handy at my deer lease when opening and closing gates, dumping gut buckets and other random times when there is no benefit of a full moon.

Mine came from http://www.customfitzled.com/ they do have light bars available, just measure what you want it to fit and look to see what will work. I found these lights to be very high quality.
