First 2014 Regular Cab I've seen at a dealer

Interesting. Not surprising an Indy dealer has it seeing as the truck came from Fort Wayne.

 

Drove by the local dealer after dinner. They have a similarly equipped regular can on hand too. About as base as base gets. Still a nice looking interior.

Exactly, I searched every Chevy dealer in Indiana trying to find one....lol

 

It's been 2 weeks today since they started production hopefully the Z71's will start showing up soon

 

I like that lighter colored interior too....think I'll go that direction with my next one.

I really like the dark blue and and brown colors. I may go for the fan interior.

I looked at brownstone crew cab that had the tan inside, I can see why you like it....it is sharp !

 

I always buy black (have for years anyway) but I really liked the brownstone too....almost a dark gold.

I'm back with a MUCH better look !

 

I like everything about it but 2 things.....That 4.2 inch radio is just wrong....in a $38,000 truck you should have the option for the 8 inch My Link !

 

And the remote key fob.....It doesn't have the chrome on the sides....it's just plain black.

 

Might be little things but you should be able to have the nicer items with a truck costing this much.

Thanks for getting the pics. The tan looks as good as I hoped it would inside. I too am baffled about the infotainment screen especially since Z71s get the larger cluster display.

You're welcome, took me a while to track this thing down.....But they are starting to trickle in to the dealers now

 

I have a 6 inch Nav Radio in my truck now and this would be big step down....the 4 inch screen would be hard to see from the drivers seat !....Hopefully they will fix this soon and make the 8 inch system available in the regular cab !

 

I have looked everywhere to figure out what makes you get the chrome on the remote vs the black remote....any idea what decides that ?

 

PS...I wonder if only the LTZ's get that remote ?

They fobs will be available on Amazon and eBay soon enough. I have already seen the High Country badges in GM packaging for sale on eBay.

I haven't got the slightest clue though LTZs getting the chrome fob makes sense. Maybe some of our 2014 owners can chime in. As for navigation, I think with the OnStar system it will actually display in the gauge cluster not that it makes much difference. I'm with you on wanting the regular cab to be option-able like the other cabs.

The fob thing must be a LTZ, cause I have just a LT and don't have the chrome either. All black fob just like your picture

That is a good point, hadn't thought about that.

 

I use the Nav in my truck now not so much for the navigation but to know when a certain road is coming up and just to give me my bearings when we are in a unusual place.
