Yah I'm going to order the all terrain grill so I get rid of the chrome. Think shop gm parts has it for 380 right now.

OP, can you put the body colored (painted) door strips on to cover the arrows etc.? I also think you can get the black window strips from Chevy if GMC does not have them. this will tone down the chrome some more.

I haven't seen factory door handle covers yet if you could point me in the right direction that would be great..

Those are factory 20 we don't have the option for 22's in Canada.

Has anyone removed the large emblem "GMC" or the Bowtie off the 2014 tailgate...? Is there holes?

Hey everyone,

Got rid of my 2012 M5 and picked up the truck yesterday and got busy today.

I debadged the whole unit, except for GMC logo's. I even took off the chrome door ding gaurds or whatever those are. DO NOT TAKE THESE OFF!! what a pain in the arse. One i got all the sticky stuff off I noticed GMC did not match the paint, they even put arrows in the paint to show where the chrome gaurd goes. I will try to get a close up you dont notice it from a distance but when you approach the truck you can see the discrepancy.

I also plasti-dipped the GMC emblems, mirrors and couple door handles. The white with glossifier does not match summit white so I might go with black instead of chrome. Opinions are welcome.

nice truck.. i have the same one.. Do you happen to know if the GMC on the tailgate has holes behind it? Also where did you get the filler piece for the front license plate?
