My 2014 Sierra SLT in Summit White

Hey everyone,

 

Got rid of my 2012 M5 and picked up the truck yesterday and got busy today.

 

I debadged the whole unit, except for GMC logo's. I even took off the chrome door ding gaurds or whatever those are. DO NOT TAKE THESE OFF!! what a pain in the arse. One i got all the sticky stuff off I noticed GMC did not match the paint, they even put arrows in the paint to show where the chrome gaurd goes. I will try to get a close up you dont notice it from a distance but when you approach the truck you can see the discrepancy.

 

I also plasti-dipped the GMC emblems, mirrors and couple door handles. The white with glossifier does not match summit white so I might go with black instead of chrome. Opinions are welcome.

Also supposed to be swapping a guy for his all terrain 20" rims which I like better than the chrome

Nice truck. Sorry bout the chrome door guards. I want to take mine off but I was waiting on someone else to do it. Sorry you had to be the one to find out. I would go with the white door handles if you can get them to match. Can you get a close up picture of the arrows on the door?

+1 , I think the all terrain wheels looks the best of any GM wheel. The wheels + the LED lights was the reason I got the GMC AT...

Nice. I wasn't a fan personally of the amount of chrome on the SLT, and that was biggest reason I went with the SLE.

The All Terrain option takes a lot of that chrome away.. with colored bumpers, grill, etc. hardly none up front or in the rear.

This is true, the issue I had with the all terrain was no cocoa leather. The black interior is just too much.

Damn everyone got better wheels than me lol! I have the polished 18s on cuv crap tires, rims are growing in me but tires aren't. I have summit white also and love the color although I like the chrome, I also removed the "4x4" emblems (are those from autozone? Seriously) and the "sierra/slt" emblems in back.

 

I think I'm going w/ some 275/70/18"s on the stock rims to give a tougher look.

Btw - I also went from a fast dd sport sedan (g8) to a truck, was odd at first but I like the size and utility.

I agree with the above, I like black accents on white trucks.
