Something isn't right about these suggested applications. My Sierra is *not* the All-Terrain. It has chrome bumpers. I ordered and received the "anthricite" part but it is the wrong color (see below). I installed it anyway because I thought it might look OK. But it really doesn't.

So I'm getting the other one now. The "anthricite" one (22877653) is black, and the "argent" one (22877652) is grey.

This is quite a hassle for a part GM should have included automatically with my new Sierra!

Agreed I did not even notice that my truck did not have the filler until I saw another truck yesterday afternoon and noticed that the ugly plate mounting area was covered pver with a filer piece that looks real nice. I have to get one and my sales guys says too bad if you want it for free so I am calling the parts department right now. I need the grey one so I will order the 22877652 I guess.

I don't think it came with instructions, but it's very easy to install. The hardware you need is included. Installation is easiest if you have a socket set (or can borrow one). Just post back if you have any questions during the install.

Yes. Here are all of the correct part numbers:

22877652 Argent in color (silver/gray)

22947121 Chrome
22877653 Anthacite in color (black)

Again these are the "cover pkg" aka "filler panels". These are *not* the license plate holders. Check shopgmcparts.com and gmpartsdirect.com for best pricing. Or get your dealer to give you one. They are typically supposed to come with the truck if the state where you live does not require a front plate.

Anyone try these on a 2014 Sierra Denali?

here is mine took 2 minutes too install looks much better. took it to the dealer for oil change the service guy said u cant put that on. I ask i this your truck? I said no and not your worry..

I cannot believe you traded an M5 for a GMC Sierra. No offense, but why? I own an HD and the thing is a complete turd that is ten years old and has 86,000 miles on it with every problem possible and I custom ordered it from the factory.

Hi guys, I have a summit white denali. I am in the process of removing all chrome and color matching. What are the part numbers for the 2 bumper pieces on the side of the liscense plate cover? I want to order myself. I just paid 700$ at the dealship for white mirror caps and door handles. I feel disgusted with myself that I actually paid that. So im doing the rest myself.

Just going to throw this out there for anyone wanting body color handles/mirror caps. I made up an ad on Craigslist asking if anyone local had any interest in trading my chrome for their painted. Took a few weeks but I had a guy get in touch with me and we swapped. Turns out he was even a sales guy at a dealer so he arranged to have the body shop switch them out for us. Went really well. Finding the painted stuff is hard since it's only available as take off or piece it together and have them painted. Sucks that the Tahoe/Yukon stuff is different.

I never could find them so I bought the handles and mirror caps and had them painted. I have a set of chrome handles I would sell if anyone is interested in them.
