Clarion powered subwoofer and SEO 12volt source?

Looking at ordering a Clarion SRV250 compact powered subwoofer to go underneath my rear seat in my 2005 Extended Cab Sierra.....I've got a Sony headunit with RCA outputs, plus upgraded Pioneer 3-ways in the front doors and coaxial 4x6 in the rears. Sounds great but needs a little more bass. Wondering if it would be OK to source the 12 volt fused power lead to the 15 amp "constant hot" (MBEC pin #4) in the SEO box under the dash instead of fishing the lead up to the positive side of the battery? The Clarion unit draws 7 amps, so I'm thinking it would be OK, but looking for advice. I've got my steering wheel control box sourced to a switched power pin in the SEO, using the info shown here....

It should be fine, but maybe you should use the 30 amp pin to make sure you're covered power wise

Yeah, it should be OK. That amp in that system is pretty weak and doesn't really pull a lot of amperage. Those work better in sedans and SUVs. I try not to sell them to truck owners because of the lack of airspace in the cabin.
