New Order - Factory LED Bed Lights

Hey Guys

 

I have a question in regards to the LED Bed lights. The lights are factory installed but I have a question on how they are integrated into the bedliner? The bedliner it looks like is installed at the dealer. Anyone have any experience on how this is handled? I guess what I really do not want to happen is I order the LED lights only to have the liner cover the lights. Comments?

Mine bed lights weren't factory installed. When the truck came in there was a box that contained a wiring harness and the lights that had to be installed by the service dept before delivery.

Did they install the liner and the lights?

As long as your dealer has the most updated bedliners in stock, they have the light provisions already built into it. We have yet to sell one and put a liner in one but I think the plastic is molded shorter or lower near where the lights go. All the current bedlinder part #'s have light provisions but there are two different options for bedliners, ones without upper tie down holes cut in them or ones with the holes pre cut.

 

The lights are dealer installed and if they come with the truck as a factory option its only $60. The light kit without installation is $135 so if a truck on the lot was ordered with them or you order a truck and want those lights, save yourself the $$$ and get them as a factory option.
