The steering is awesome in these trucks. Great on-center feel and fairly linear as well, very impressed. The truck will darn near drive itself down the highway.

I like this thread. A few bad apples shouldn't ruin the bunch. I don't have a 2014 but my 2010 with 5.3 AFM does NOT burn/use any oil. I love my truck and would only sell it for basically the same truck but a 2500 with a diesel. Or maybe a diesel suburban but I don't see that happening anytime in the near future.

The seats are hard as bricks. 1.5 hr drive and still not uncomfortable, its strange.

I drove her up to the cottage yesterday and took the back roads. I can't believe how great the handling is and the steering feels so nice. Even on the highway she tracks true and rides so smooth and quiet. I'm also loving the fuel mileage, I averaged 25.6mpg on the 2 hour trek up here. I don't feel so bad getting the 3.08 now, it also stayed in V4 mode for 90% of the highway jog. As an added bonus, the more I frive it the better the truck seems to get, it's seems to be getting smoother and smoother with the ride and the shifting the more miles I rack up.

4,000 miles on my wife's LTZ 4x4 Texas Edition and 600 miles on my LTZ Z71. No problems here and they both are the best vehicles we have ever owned and we have owned lots of new trucks and suv's.

I also agree with how smooth and quiet these trucks are. There is so much to like about them. The steering impressed me from all of the test drives I made with other trucks. The F150 has to be the worst steering/driving truck on the market. Throttle response is great too.

Don’t regret the decision and it rides, drives wonderful!!! had a 2011 SLT Z71 and i kinda miss it, but overall i love this one!

agreed. my 13fx4 had some terrible steering...but my god it flew.

this truck im not fond of the afm..but thats easily fixed lol..

I think the people having issues with their trucks should post what model it is, My guess is that most of the people having issues are in WT Trim levels. Or maybe thats just me being ignorant of lower trim levels ^.^

Another thing you should take into consideration is that people who are happy with their vehicle are less likely to go posting on forums, where as almost every person with an issue is going to be posting something. My guess is 1 of every 10 people who are happy with their truck are saying good things about it, where as 8 of 10 people who aren't happy are complaining about it!
