This is MY OPINION ONLY but I think all the 6.2L engines that were available when GM first released them for sale to the public we allocated to GMC trucks. Seems strange that there are unsold GMC trucks with those engines in them sitting on dealers' lots for sale yet most of us who ordered them in Silverados are STILL WAITING!!!!

6.2L Silverado LTZ Z71 (3.42 gears)

Ordered - Dec.3
Scheduled - Jan.6

Shipped - Jan.19

Typing my order number into the website got me nothing, had to use the online chat to find out any of this information.

They also said it would take approx 27 business days from shipping date to get to me, not sure why so damn long.

At least it's built!

I'm new here and taking in a lot of info and found this thread, just picked up my new 6.2L v8 LTZ Z71. I love this truck. I ordered it in early dec and got it on 1-20. It's sitting on 22 inch rims from Chevy, fully loaded minus a sunroof, can't complain one bit.

OK Now that I know my TPW is Febuary 3rd does anyone have an idea as to how long it will take to ship from the center of Mexico to the north east?

I'm in the northeast as well. My truck was built last week. It's being shipped from Mexico to the distribution center in New York.

As of yesterday the person on GM chat told me it was still on a train somewhere in Mexico.

Thanks! at least its on the train. Not to ask a million questions, Did you get the VIN prior to build or after?
