I have tried to post this reply three times. This site does not accept just any picture. Anyway, I went with the AVS aeroskin, follows the hood lines well, protects the hood, and does not disrupt airflow Put a smoke one on a friends truck and it looks good too.

Looks great in person, many people think it is OEM. You can stop by a truck accessories store and look at them on your truck.

And yes it uses 3M tape, very easy to install.

I am very happy with mine. I bought both the weather tech and the AVS and compared them with just a test fit and selected the AVS. It looks great IMO.

My pictures suck... I am going to try and get some better ones today.

I'm not happy the way the Aerostar or the Weather Tech bug deflector clips to the edge of our hood. I am probably going to go at the AVS Aeroskin hood protector something new for me, but going to try it.

Swazimoto,

Do you have the AVS bug deflector or the AVS Aeroskin hood protector installed?

Thanks-

Rich

I went with the aero skin. I compared the lot of them. I recommend that if you go with that you get a grease pen and line it up nicely dry and mark an alignment line before following the install recommendations. I was very careful and came out 1/4 inch to the one side. You can take it off and put new 3m tape down but its work.

For my '13 HD I went with the standard style Bugshield. Reason is even though it may disrupt the air flow some, it covers the front edge of the fenders also, unlike the Aeroskin. Otherwise the Aeroskin would have won!

Now to get the darn thing installed!!! Just haven't had the time!!!

Good luck deciding!

Somebody likes black.

Guilty! This is my first vehicle in many that is not black. This one is Iridium Metallic. It looks pretty dark with the high contrast due to the snow tho.

I installed the bugflector II. While I think it protects the truck a little better, it whistles like crazy above 80km/h. I still hear it over the music.

My super quiet 2014 just got louder...but its almost worth it in the winter going through the mountain passes

Here is a picture of the aeroskin and the AVS window deflectors.

Sweet truck! Love the tires, flares and colour combo you have going.
