Here is a picture of the aeroskin and the AVS window deflectors.

Nice choices, truck looks awesome!

I got the chrome aeroskin and love it. Had it on for almost two years.

I had a smoke avs aeroskin and it worked great, i have a second brand new one if anyone is interested in buying it. My 15 wouldn't look right with a smoke aeroskin

I want to get the AVS aeroskin but already have 3M tape applied on the hood. Will the bug deflector still stick to the 3M already on the hood.

It's frustrating I have a couple rock chips right at the edge of my hood which the protective 3M doesn't cover. When I asked the dealer about why they did not do it on the edge, their response was that it would lift and a small gap is needed.

Two things. Blaming the aluminum for the dent and paint chip is highly speculative without knowing the details of the stone/rock and its velocity and trajectory. In this case, at least the exposed area will not rust like steel.

Secondly, most installers of paint protection film (aka clear bra) use pre-cut kits which leave the leading and side edges of the hood still exposed. My installer wraps these edges and any other edge he has access; my hood has only one visible seam and the inboard fender edges are "wrapped around".

This is the reason I don't understand why "all" installers don't wrap the front edge of the hood as it seems that the edge is more likely to get chipped.

Installers should do as POS VETT's installer does, sounds like he knows how to do it.

I have one and like it. To me, they are the best looking and best fitting bug shield out there. Iffy on rock chips tho due to size.

This is exactly why I went with EGR's Supergaurd. It wrapped the entire edge of the hood and the version for my '14 screwed in underneath. About the version for my '17; the screws are visible from the front of the truck and now the Supergaurd screws into hood mount clips.

I just put on an AVS bugflector and vent visors this week. They look great. Just a note, AVS is offering a $25 mail in rebate if you buy both before the end of this month.
