Silverado Bed Liner Package Install Tips

An FYI for those that may be interested in the GM bedliner package for a 2014 Silverado.

I bought mine on 12/21/2013 from my dealer. Part number #23123699 detail liner package. Price 239.95. With pa. tax, 254.35 out the door. This included the liner, tailgate cover and attachment hardware, #23173256. The install was easy but if you have the under rail lights, I loosened the passanger side and removed the drivers side so that the liner will fit under the lights. Install the passanger side first. You will need to drill and install 7 included self tapping screws, but I recomend that you use a small pilot drill as the self tapping screws are hard to start straight. The tail gate cover needs only 2 drilled holes as there is new hardware that replaces the 8 existing screws. The total time for my install was about 45 minutes. Fit was very good.

Yes It actually is the same. The only difference was getting it under the factory bed lights.

Can you post some pics of your install? Also where is your turn on switch? Thanks in advance.

Bed lamps turn on using the cargo lamp button under the heater controls.

Thanks Mike, but I was wondering how the kit wired into that switch. I have that now which turns on my cargo light. Was hoping for some images of the lights installed and maybe a quick discussion of how hard the install was to wire to that switch.
