Today, I noticed that on my radio display that there was not a CD in the player, and I had just pushed one in.  I hit the button to play and it would spin the cd but it did not play and then it displayed "ERR" what can I do?????

Mine does the same dang thing!  I get it more with cd's that I burned myself, but it also does it a little bit here and there with store-bought cd's.  It also seems to do it more when its heated up from playing for a while.

You might want to clean the player and use name brand cd/r's------i have used cheaper cd/r's and the factory head unit will not read them as good-my 2 cents :D

One more problem it will not eject the cd which is a new Toby Keith cd which has only be played in one other player before being put into this one.  How can I get it out besides using the blue tipped wrench????? :D

My CD player also acts up sometimes. A couple of weeks ago a CD-R got stuck in it and it wouldn't eject. I let it sit in there for about 8 hrs and then pressed eject again and it came out. Haven't had any problems since then. ???

As long as you are still under the factory warranty, GM should repair or replace your CD player.
