Driver side door clunk?

My Denali doesn't sound as solid as I would expect when closing doors. Hell, my '88 Bronco sounds better, but it has thicker sheet metal and a bunch of Hushmat in the doors and all the body panels when I did the restoration. I think its because the sheet metal is really thin and not much sound absorbing material, if any on the my Denali. At some point, I planned to open up the passenger side door to figure out a speaker vibration buzz, and drop some hushmat on the door skin if I didn't find any.

Solved. Dealer said the window regulator is loose. Parts ordered.

I have the same noise in my 16 Z it's been driving me nuts had the door apart 3 times the last time I loosened all the bolt on the regulator and put a rubber pad behind the window motor, it definitely made a difference but now its back, did the new regulator fix your problem and is anyone else experiencing this also,Thanks all great forum !
