bad weekend. are you ok ??

Yeah I'm good. Only a sore elbow from smacking the center console and a small cut on my left thumb knuckle

How does this even happen?

Went around a bend at 45, got distracted by my water jug in the back seat, ended up on my side of the roads shoulder, the road had a pretty tall drop off so I was trying to climb back onto the road but when I finally got back on the road the wheels were turned too far so I ended up in the other ditch. It felt like I was almost sideways in the roadway.

Both side airbags deployed which I truly believe is why I didn't get tore up as bad as I could have. I cut out the passenger side airbag to climb out lol

Damn, glad you are all good after that.

I swapped out the red 4X4 decals for the black/gray ones last night.

Oh damn, the bags went off? That's crazy! Did they get you or whiplash? Sounds like a hard hit and glad to hear you're all good.

They went off when I was bent over the console so when I came back towards the window they cushioned the impact. Very lucky to be able to walk away from it

Installed Undercover Flex and BedRug. Both were fairly easy to install [emoji1417]

Added my step bar leds today. Tied them I to the dome lights so they come on anytime the dome lights are one. Works great with the key fob unlock and such.

They lights look great. I'm glad you had no trouble installing them. I am the one selling them on ebay.

Nice thanks. Did you need spacers for the rear w/ PC 4" kit?

I'm assuming you are talking about the rims. With factory rims I did but when I got my Rockstar rims with the right offset (-12mm) no spacers needed. My rims are 17" since I like to see more tire. If you are talking about the lift it had a block and extra leaf spring for the rear.

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
