Auto Memory Recall - 2014 Sierra Denali

I picked up my 2014 Sierra Denali yesterday. I'm loving the truck, but am having a problem with the auto memory recall seat feature. When this feature turned on, when I open the door, it moves my seat ALL the way forward. I have to manually recall it by pressing "1" on the door panel. I looked in the manual to see if there is a way to program the position for the auto recall, but no luck. Has anyone else experienced this?

Each button 1 and 2 is assigned to a specific key so try unlocking the door with the other fob and vice versa that's what it was with me so the 1 button will work with the 1 fob etc. I don't know how to tell which key is which I just had to try them both.

Move seat to desired position. Set/save that position as #1 and then again as #2. Later, if you want a second setting you can reprogram #2.

You may be using remote 2. There is also a function that moves your seat when you take the key out (easy exit) and that can be programmed as well to move your seat to make it easier to get in and out of the truck. My recall function is buggy in my truck and doesn't always program when you push a button so that could be affecting yours as well.

Congrats on the denali purchase, u wont b disapointed. And not sure y but it seems they come from the factory with the memory recall making the seats go completely forward. Basically setup for little people. Well it could b because there made in mexico I guess lol.

Sure enough, I was using the FOB programmed to position 2. Switching FOBs worked. So, I programmed both 1 and 2 to the same positions like MotoMedic suggested. I hear ya GM-GUY, I'm 6'3", so I was a bit surprised when I hopped in and my face was about against the windshield :) Thanks for your help everyone!

Yes, be sure to go into the settings on your my link and I believe it's comfort and convenience then turn easy exit off. It had me puzzled for a day or so.

I am also having issues. I have manually set the 1, the 2, and the exit positions. But I can only get them to work manually. I must be programing them wrong, I didn't use either FOB. This is on a 2014 LTZ. I have read and re-read the book, I must be doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Just got the truck last Tuesday. Thanks
