Radio/Screen Dim with Lights?

Press and hold the left (volume) knob and the infotainment will shut off. The screen will go black. Is that what you were asking? Or are you doing that and it comes on by itself?

Mine does the same... very annoying. Mostly when going through tunnels or shade (which is okay), but it takes for ever (if at all) for them to come back on. I took it to the dealer for service and added this item... they said "use the dimmer dial to turn it up" . Not very helpful.

There is a mod that can be done to make it dim even further, still controlled by the dimmer switch. I had it flagged to "follow," but now it's not in my list.
