Made it through surgery. In recovery mode now. They are going to monitor me for 48hrs and see if my white blood cell count goes down hopefully. Went up today to 13.8 But they contribute that to stirring up the infection inside. Need to get it back to that 11 range! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Surgery was to put 4 cuts. To clean out inside with salleen.. used a camera also. And I now have 2 drains in me. They found a blockage in the small intestine I believe it was.

Wht blood cell count down to 11.3 this morn! Which is great news. Still sore tho from surgery. Crossing fingers for early week ti get out if all stays good.

I'm home! Sitting in the easy chair and resting it up right now. When I came home I showered right away and overdid it with moving and felt like I was gonna go right back in that hospital! But took one of those magical pain pills and I feel better now.

Off to the road of recovery. Good news is I was able to look at my baby outside! Can't wait to wash her and drive her again!

Yea this will be a lifestyle change for sure. No popcorn. No peanuts. Pretty much nothing that the body cannot digest easily.

Yes it does. If you have these little air pockets in your colon and a nut or kernel, or corn gets stuck in there, it can become infected! D
