What's the best wax for a white truck? I just want to wash mine and wax it real good after this nasty salty winter roads.

You realized you just opened up a black hole haha

Everyone has their favorite.

Personally I will use a sealant and top with a wax. I use collinite 845. Longest lasting wax I have ever used. Also only about $16 a bottle

Has anyone used that Turtle Wax ice that you just spray on and wipe with a microfiber?

yea i have. i try and use it after every wash. its no real wax for sure, but it helps maintain your truck. IMO there is no spray that will ever take the place of a true mr miyagi wax on wax off the good ole fashion way

Ok, I'll probably get like a tub of turtle wax and some elbow grease one Saturday haha

Man don't get that turtle wax I figured I would try it after years and years of using Maguire's , that junk is so hard to get off once dried and once I got it off I reapplied Maguire's and will never switch again.

I'm thinking about the Turtle Wax Ice liquid, or what's another product that's easy to apply?

I have used Nufinish the last couple of times I waxed my truck. I have been very surprised by how long it lasts. Only thing that I have heard last longer is Collinite, but I haven't tried that yet.

I was using Meguiar's DA Microfiber Finishing Wax because it applied easy, left a high gloss shine, was basically a one wipe removal, and smelt awesome. I then bought and tried Collinite 845, and I don't think I will use anything else from now on. It's cheap, under 20 dollars for a bottle. It comes as a really thick paste, but when shaken for a while it tunes into a liquid. I then replaced the cap with a spay nozzle and lightly misted on like a spay wax. After a quick pass with a foam finishing pad with my Meguiar's DA to even it out, the hazed wax effortless wiped off. Not the glossy est, but I applied in the beginning of October and the water beading after this heavily salted winter is still amazing. Collinite 845 was least amount of wax I have ever applied and has last the longest.

I started using this stuff we have at work for our trucks. Its called Wizzards Shine Master. It's a liquid. It comes off almost as easy as it goes on. No buffing, which I like. After a good wash, it wipes on, hazes quick and wipes right off. We use hospital towels at work. For my truck I bought an inexpensive microfiber towel. I use it on everything, windows, mirrors, chrome, head lights, tail lights. Everything but the non-painted plastic. I do my truck twice a year, June and December. It is kind of hard to find. I ended up ordering a bottle from amazon.com.

For a bright color cars I suggest sealant not carnauba based wax. Sealant will add sparkle to the paint finish. For brands I suggest Poorboys exp, klasse ksg, autoglym paint sealant, etc.
