I finally got around to getting mine installed and I have to say that I am very impressed with this product. If anyone has not checked them out, you really should.

I got the black for my 2014 Silverado with is Victory Red, and I think it looks great. It is very easy to use, install can be a bit tricky, I did it by myself, but an extra pair of hands wouldn't hurt. As far as keeping the rain out, I got in and closed the cover and the tailgate, and there is only one little spot of light that came in, and there is where I applied the seal that came with in on the cab end, so that was used error.

Once I got it installed, I had to small issues, so I got on the website and did the live chat, and I got my questions answered quickly and they are shipping me a new part.

I am not employed by them or compensated by them, I just think its a great product made by a great company in the USA. I will snap a few pictures of it tonight when I get home so you guys can see it.

I agree the Peragon Truck Covers looks like a very good cover. I wish I knew about it before I purchase the Retrax. I may have gone that route. They are both good truck covers. The Peragon doesn't have a canister and it appears to be very easy to remove the cover when it isn't needed. It looks like they only sell directly to customers with no dealers.

Keep us up to date if you have any problems.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have an update on Peragon covers?

Posted

I put one on a couple weeks ago. Very happy with it so far. I posted some pics in my gallery.

How do you open the cover if you have a bed full of stuff?

Posted

When I load my bed the cover is open and I leave enough space for the cover to unfold and close. You lose a little space, but you can remove the cover if you want.

I liked them because they can be ordered painted to match and be removed or stored for bed use... (camping with bicycles and other crap)... but went with the GM quad "fold-a-cover" only because I was offer a discount from dealer.

I have a Peragon on my 2015 SLT, after about 3 months of having it installed it is still extremely hard to close once on the last panel. Anyone have this issue?
